1. Disconnect a Meta advertising account
If you are an authorized Growth OS administrator and can still sign in, open Settings, find Meta Ads Connection, and select Disconnect. Confirm the prompt to stop the connection from being treated as active in Growth OS.
For another supported integration, open Settings and use the available disconnect or credential-removal control for that integration. If no control is available to you, use the deletion-request process below.
Disconnecting stops active use of that connection in Growth OS. It does not necessarily delete historical reports, cached or summarized metrics, snapshots, account mappings, or all stored connection records. Send a deletion request if you also want those records reviewed for removal.
2. Request account or data deletion
Email support@expertpublishing.com with the subject Growth OS data deletion request. You can make this request without a Growth OS account or reviewer credentials.
Include only the information needed to locate and verify the request:
- Your name and the business or Growth OS organization involved.
- The email address used for the Growth OS account, if applicable.
- Whether you want deletion of the Growth OS user account, Meta-derived data, a specific connected account, or all data associated with the organization that you are authorized to request.
- The relevant client or ad-account name and Meta ad-account identifier, if known. Do not include campaign performance data or other unnecessary customer information.
- A brief explanation of your authority if you are requesting deletion for a business or another user.
3. Verification
To protect client and user data, Expert Publishing may verify the requester's identity and authority. Verification may include replying from the account email address, confirming organization or account details already known to Growth OS, or obtaining approval from an authorized organization administrator. We will not ask you to send a password or access token.
If we cannot verify the request or if the requester lacks authority over the requested business data, we may ask for additional non-secret information, narrow the request, or decline it with an explanation.
4. Data covered by a verified request
Depending on the request and the requester's authority, deletion can cover:
- Growth OS authentication and profile information.
- Organization membership, role, and client assignments.
- Meta connection records, stored connection credentials, ad-account identifiers and mappings, and connection status.
- Meta-derived campaign, ad set, ad, creative, destination, and performance information held in reports, snapshots, caches, summaries, or workflow records.
- Other connected-platform credentials and data within the verified scope of the request.
- User-created settings, reports, notes, and files within the verified scope of the request.
5. Limits and timing
We will process verified requests within timelines required by applicable law or an applicable contract. Some information may be retained when reasonably necessary for legal compliance, fraud and security prevention, dispute resolution, backup integrity, accounting obligations, or enforcement of agreements. Where deletion from active systems is appropriate, residual copies may remain temporarily in protected backups until those backups are overwritten under normal operations.
If information belongs to several authorized users or is required to provide an ongoing service to the relevant business, we may coordinate with an authorized organization owner before deleting shared records.
6. Completion and third-party platforms
After processing, Expert Publishing will send confirmation to the verified contact address and identify any information that could not be deleted and the general reason. Deleting data from Growth OS does not delete the source data held by Meta, Google, or another connected platform. Contact those platforms separately to exercise rights over data they control.
7. Questions
For questions about disconnection, account deletion, or Meta-derived data, contact Expert Publishing at support@expertpublishing.com. Do not send credentials or secrets.
